How Democrats Borrow a Billion Dollars
Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11:16PM House Democrats once again silenced opposing viewpoints in the Minnesota Legislature, this time to ram through their billion-dollar debt bill. See the video:
If this sounds familiar, it's because it is. They've done this before. And before that. And even before that.
In fact, since taking control of the Legislature in 2007, Minnesota House Democrats have silenced debate 7 times. Prior to 2007, the rare procedure had only been used 5 times since 1971.
Is this what Democrats mean when they talk about bipartisanship and cooperation?
